DIY: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Papercraft

Today we are going over an easy DIY that creates awesome mini figures for your nerd cave and best of all its dirt cheap! Papercrafts are gaining in popularity due to the inexpensive cost and the amazing designs being released. One of my favorite designers is Gus Santome, his designs remind me of the Funko Pop figures. Lets Jump right in!

Items Needed:
Card Stock Paper 110 lb (i found Wal-Mart to be the cheapest) 4.93
Aleene's Tacky Glue (can be purchased from local hobby store) 5.45
Sharp Scissors (dull or cheap scissors will be a pain) 10.99
Tooth Picks (make applying glue easier in some smaller pieces) 1.99

1) Take your paper and cut around your paper craft art to create individual pieces. This will make cutting the figure out much easier.

2) Once your figure is cut out begin folding it along the dotted lines to create the shape intended for the figure.

3) Apply small amounts of glue to the tabs and fold the figure to its proper position. The glue gets tacky pretty quickly you will not have a problem with it unfolding at this point you can manipulate the bends and folds so everything aligns properly.

4) Your awesome mini figure is complete! Display it out in the open so your friends can admire your creativity!

Yous can find the links to Gus Santome's TMNT papercrafts here. He also has over a hundred other heroes villains and more on his website so be sure to check him out! Thanks for reading the post! Who knows I may have just saved you a lot of money, now that there is no need to buy the Funko Pop figures anymore. :)
