Having a hobby of collecting old toys and comics can often be expensive so I try to save anywhere I can. Today Im going to discuss some of the cool decorations ive set up around my Nerd Cave for cheap.
I found the masks shopping at Party City one day and thought they would make a great addition to my game room. They sell them for 1.99 a piece and you can find them along with the birthday part decorations. They are the old style masks with cheap plastic and elastic string to hold it on your head, but what can you expect for 1.99.
Party City is actually a good place for some cool nic nacs, you can also get tin lunch boxes there from 3.99 to 6.99 a piece depending on the size. They range from Star Wars to the Avengers and Mickey Mouse. You can check them out on their website here.
Upcycling is also a good way to save some money! I used the shell from one of my boys old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle costumes as wall art. Just stuff, stitch and add a hanging string and you go yourself a one of a kind wall piece. Hanging up your favorite comic books in frames is a great way to take up wall space and display your favorite series. The frame above comes from Walmart and sales for 5 dollars a piece or if you have a lot to frame and need to do it cheaper you can purchase frames from the dollar store which is pictured in my first photo.
I hope I was able to help some of you penny pinchers out there. If you have other money saving ideas please comment bellow and let me know. Thanks for reading have a Nerdy Day!
